camp!!!
Well, as you can tell by the title I’ve gone off on another adventure. This time for a whole week. In the past I have only been able to go to Camp Ne-O-Tez for Pre-Camp, which is just 2 1/2 days long, because I wasn’t old enough for the week long sessions. This year was different though, I was finally old enough! The session that I went to with my good buddy, Dalton, was the 3rd to 5th Grade All Boys week. We had a blast!
A normal day at camp started at around 7:15am, with the opening flag ceremony and devotional time at 7:30am. After that, we all got lined up in the order that we arrived for flag to walk to breakfast in Pine Lodge. Breakfast varied from day-to-day, but we had pancakes, bacon, french toast, orange juice, cereal, etc. throughout the week. I always went back for at least a second helping of food at every meal!
After breakfast we all went back to our cabins to straighten up our stuff. At 9:30am we went to our Bible classes. We studied the life of Jesus–starting with the story of His birth and concluding with His resurrection. Bible classes were about an hour long. We were given about a 1/2 hour of free time between class and lunch every day in the Pine Lodge. After that we had another 1/2 hour of free time. Then we went to bible class again. After that we had a sports activity and then dinner. After that we had camp fire. Then oops! I forgot we went to the pool after dinner.Well continuing where I left off, after camp fire we all went to bed.
My favorite part was when we hiked to inspiration point witch is a cliff with a great view we stayed up there for about 15 mins. It was fun.
