woolly worms & crazy white paw
After I came home from school today my Mom found a woolly worm in the backyard when she was taking our dog outside. She brought it in on her finger and let Gideon and I look at it and we both touched it, too.
The woolly worm felt kinda weird and fuzzy. Gideon wasn’t sure about touching it at first, but then he got brave and did. He says that it felt “um, trazy.. it feels like my stuffed twitters… it’s a weird fuzzy thingy”. Mom took some pictures of the little guy after she put him in a container of potted petunias on the back porch. We are hoping that it will stay in the potted flowers and we will be able to watch what it changes into.
White Paw, one of our crazy porch cats, was “helping” Mom with the picture taking and she took a couple pictures of him, too. My favorite is the one of him upside down!
Tonight we are going to an Ice Cream Social at the preschool that Gideon will be going to start at next Tuesday. I went there for two years and really liked it. I think that he is excited about being a big boy and going to school. After the thing at preschool we are headed to Wednesday night Bible study at Vaughn Hill.

Thought you gave up on the blog Glad you didn’t! Sounds like you’ve been really busy and having fun. School will be fun too after you get “back into it.”
